University at Buffalo Gencyber 2016
During the summer of 2016, I participated in the development and execution of creating a camp designed for middle school and high school students.
The primary purpose of the University at Buffalo GenCyber Camp is to educate students about cyber security principles and cyber security careers so that students can make well-informed choices about their future college degree plans and careers.
The campers spend the week learning about various computer concepts including HTML, virtualization, and security. The camp culminates with a simulated cyber attack in which the campers have to defend the websites they created throughout the week.
